Born 1946, Batanes, Philippines, died 2004, Singapore. Abad studied painting at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and The Art Students League in New York City. She had an active career, and often incorporated textiles and textile techniques into her painting. Google made her the subject of a 'doodle' on July 31, 2020.
