Ng Keng Siang

A prominent architect and developer in Singapore in the 1940s, -50s and 60s. An early overseas graduates (from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London). One of the first Singaporean architects to become a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, he served as the President of the Society of Malayan Architects for many years. Designer of the Asia Insurance Building on Finlayson Green, the Nanyang University Library, the Teochew Association, and the Anglo-Chinese School. He received the commission for the Lim Bo Seng Memorial in 1951.
