This is a crowd pleaser and a favorite, a 13-m tall skinny snowman. Installation of public art in VivoCity's coincided with the Singapore Biennale 2006, and was included as part of the Biennale. From the artists' website: "Two sculptures were created in 2006 for VivoCity, a shopping center and lifestyle park in Singapore. A huge, oversized snowman and a macro-view of the crystalline structure of a snowflake lend the tropical site an additional alpine note. With its intervention, inges idee stages pairs of opposites, like 'hot and cold' or 'ephemeral and eternal', in a gigantic artificial architecture."
