The Explorer
First placed in Singapore: 1999
first placed in front of the Singapore Art Museum, later moved to a side garden. Has turned up at the Singapore Science Centre (2022), but that is meant to be renovated soon, so not sure how long it will be there…
As an important commission of the Singapore Art Museum, the piece was installed at the front of the museum. In 2010 it was installed to a new position around at the northern entrance. It was removed sometime in the mid-to-late 20teens, and is no longer visible as the site is now under construction.
