Nice to have some colour in front of the imposing hanging black hooded facade of the law school. Scale is right. But for a work that is created spatially it's rather two-dimensional...

Text of the Label:

"Untitled" is a 3-metre-high bright red painted aluminium sculpture, created in a single moment, during which the artist releases liquid plaster from a bottle through a quick motion of her hand and body. After falling into shape, the material instantly hardens. This singular event, repeated hundreds of times, often likened to the Big Bang.
With every shape and colour, Rotraut's art, guided by the intuitive power of her body and the conscious affirmation of her mind is a celebration of life. ‍ Generously donated to SMU by Dato' Kho Hui Meng 15 Aug 2019
